I like to work with slightly spicy condiments during the colder months, both as a way to warm up my body and for their anti inflamatory properties. Ginger most certainly is warming and a wonderful medicine for inflamation modulation, however it is also a valued digestive support which is why I like to have these to hand as an after dinner sweet treat. We grow our own ginger here in the garden each year, and this crystalized ginger is a world apart from the sugary jelly stuff you buy commercially. You can see, smell and taste that it is good quality ginger, it is truly delicious!
Of course, one can also add them to festive drinks, bakes and desserts, but I personally prefer to get as much of the medicinal properties out of the ingredients I work with, and they are so good just eaten by the slice.
This comes to you in a beautiful locally made recycled glass apothecary jar, complete with our wild botanical Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art debossed in a wax seal made with handgathered finely ground pyrite, selenite, and biotite crystals. Each vessel is sealed with beeswax, adorned with a mini posey of wild lunar botanicals, and finished a hand written plant fiber paper label embossed with our Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art. The label is lovingly held in place with a beautiful plant fiber cordage made from mugwort and rose.
As with all offerings, every single ingredient has been hand gathered, dried and prepared by me personally, ensuring sustainable, biodynamic and ceremonious harvesting of plant medicines, highest quality organic ingredients, and energetic integrity from start to finish. All ingredients have been air dried so as to ensure raw quality and preseve the highest nutritional density possible.
