You may remember seeing our Moonspirit Bath and Body Oil Trio launch during the lunar half of the year honouring the moon (and menstrual) cycles, and Sunspirit Bath & Body Oil Set launch during the solar high point of the year (honouring the seasons and solar cycle). Well, now our third and final cycle offerings is here, the evocative Earthspirit Ritual Bath & Body Oil Set which honours the Earths planetary cycle and the earth element itself. 
 
Lovingly handcrafted from wild native medicinal herbs and fine crystal and mineral powders, these potent crystal ritual oils were created to support your connection with the cycles of the Earth throughout the earth year. The botanical ingredients and packaging for this set was inspired by the rugged mountain landscapes I adore and am part of - the textures, smells, colours, shapes, sounds, the way it feels under foot, the way it's non human inhabitants give magical form to light - all of it! 
 
Each bottle contains a natural black garnet that I gathered by hand in the glacial meltwaters of the high Alps. These were added to ground and enhance the energetic and medicinal properties of the plant ingredients, and to support the natural functions of the energetic centers of the body.
 
This palette shaped itself as the earths were gathered in my four favourite places, two at my family home in Ireland, and two at my Alpine home in the heart of Europe: 
 
- the silvery black cliffs on the south shore of Bantry Bay where the land dramatically meets the sea
 
- the peaty dark brown earth that is found at the Cailleachs own hearth on the Beara Peninsula, her home on the north shore of Bantry Bay
 
- the golden yellow iron rich earth that is found behind my home in the Alps, I recently discovered that the summit behind my house is called 'Heimberg', heim translates as home, berg translates as mountain. It was clear to me that this needed to be here in this offering.
 
- the green pigment came from mineral rich river tumbled stones down at the river near my Alpine home, at a place that I lovingly call 'Happy Place' because it has so many colours, textures and wonderful colour materials.
 
The botanical ingredients for this collection was directly inspired by the green family that live in and around these places, who themselves, are deeply grounding, cleansing, and age old protective plant medicines:
 
Mugwort, yarrow, rosemary, sage, thyme, cedar, swiss stone pine, oakmoss, pine and fir resins, white oak bark, and more. It is an ode to the understory, to forests and fern filled glens, mountain springs, rock faces, crystals, and river bends.
 
Each vessel is encrusted with absolutely stunning organic wild earth and clay bodies in this season's colours, created with hand gathered finely ground crystals, minerals, earths and botanicals that to me represent quintessential earth element.
 
Each is then ritually sealed with beeswax and adorned with seasonal wild native botanicals. You will also receive a complimentary tool for you to etch your personal and unique symbols, sigils, words and other marks upon.
 
ABOUT OUR RITUAL OIL RANGE
I have to say that this range of ritual oils and the bottles that hold them have got to be my most favourite, and the most aesthetically pleasing organic packaging I have ever seen! The journey of gathering the earths, minerals, crystals, minerals and pigments that adorn these vessels, gently washing, hand grinding, and preparing each ingredient so that I could create sacred spaces (bottles) befitting of the Ritual Oils they carry, was an incredibly nourishing and grounding process in itself and speaks volumes of the medicines these offerings contain. 
 
These Ritual Oils can be used as ceremonial anointing oils, bath and body oils, ideally in the way you yourself feel uniquely drawn to work with them.
 
Our cycles oil blends are normally offered in 50ml bottles, but this earth collection is available as a 30ml travel sized set, our regular 50ml sized, *and* our 100ml practitioner size set for therapeutic settings, group facilitation and gatherings. Please note that these are hand crafted pure cold pressed oils, created from wild native medicinal herbs. They are not infused oils, nor are they diluted. We do not use essential oils or fragrances in any of our products.
