This listing is for our Clary Sage Botanical Ritual Oil and Anointing Balm Duo, from The heART of Ritual.
 
Lovingly created with full moon harvested pure Clary Sage (grown from last year's seed in our own garden), this duo was created to enhance a soothing, relaxed and peaceful state of BEing, to reclaim one's inner sanctuary space.
 
I began including my own Clary Sage offerings last season, during the Autumn/Water element time of year, as this plant is an incredible green ally for all forms of emotional work and womb work. I decided to develop this further to be included in the winter collection this year so that it can offer emotional support to those consciously engaged in release work, grief composting, and emotional clearing. Hence this offering. This wonderous plant has become a very close colleague in recent years and has been offering invaluable support throughout my menopause journey in particular. I have always been captivated by its incredible scent and ethereal blossoms, and this is now my go-to scent each day.
 
These vessels are adorned with highly textured natural structural paste made from purple slate that I gathered along the shores of Bantry Bay, ocean tumbled quartz that I gathered along the shores of Bantry Bay, and selenite that I gathered at the shoreline in Spain. The results reflect the purple colours of the Clary Sage blossoms, a reflection and playful nod to the botanical and crystal prayers held within these vessels.
 
Each vessel is adorned with a mini posey of wild lunar botanicals, and a hand written plant fiber paper label embossed with our Celtic Wheel of the Year mandala art. These are lovingly held in place with a beautiful plant fiber cordage made from mugwort and rose.

ABOUT OUR ALCHEMY RITUAL BALMS & OILS
There is a small number of ritual anointing balms and oils to choose from in the ALCHEMY section of this shop. There are very different energetic signatures present in each - what resonates with you, how you choose to work with them, your experience, the direction this takes, and insights they impart is unique to you and where you are personally at in that moment on your journey and for this reason, each person's experience is unique too. All of our ritual anointing balms and oils are made from sustainably harvested native plants, flowers, resins, our medicinal plant tinctures, extracts, our tree, flower, mushroom and crystal essences and much more. There really are incredible plant and crystal medicines packed into each offering. The ritual balm in this set is 50ml, the ritual oil in this set is 30ml.
 
As a responsible human and environmentalist I only work with ingredients I have sustainably gathered in the wild, there are no exotic imported ingredients in anything I make. I don't use essential oils - this is a personal habit as I have super sensitive skin and I don't make a high enough volume of essential oils myself as it requires too much plant material for a minute amount of oil and I find that to be unsustainable for our local environment here. I choose instead to add native resins, aromatic roots, leaves and flowers for their natural scents.
 
As a ritualist, energetic integrity and balanced exchange is paramount and as such, I only work with what I've ceremoniously gathered with my own hands. That which is gathered is only done with with full permission from each plant with personal offerings gifted in gratitude by way of balancing the exchange - a balance that is a vital part of all that I am and do. These slow medicine offerings were lovingly birthed over many moon cycles from sustainably harvested, organic, wildcrafted native ingredients, our own medicinal plant tinctures, wild cold pressed oils, superfine crystal powders, our tree, flower, mushroom and crystal essences, and LOVE.
