This set contains two mark making brushes, both formed with long Badger bristles. The handle on the larger brush is made from the intricate remains of a seaweed stipe and holdfast. The second brush hand is formed with ocean tumbled bone that found me on the beach. Both handles are from the south shore of Bantry Bay. 
 
Spring is the season of seeding of all kinds, and I felt that it would be a nice ritual to offer these charred poppyseed heads for you to grind and make into your own votive ink. They are so incredibly beautiful and are the remains of poppies that grew here in the garden last year. Note that I removed the seeds before charring them. This set also includes a natural ready made binding fluid and instructions on how to craft your votive ink.
